State Street Attract Conference Delegates with Golf Game
State Street Attract Conference Delegates with Golf Game May 2004
State Street, one of the world's largest financial services groups, has integrated a game into their UK conference exhibition stand. The 'State Street Masters' golf game, developed by 3RD sense, is designed to attract conference attendees and gather potential customer data.
'At events like these, exhibitors have to compete for the attention of delegates', said Colin Cardwell, Director of 3RD sense. 'A quick, fun interactive experience like a game is a perfect way to attract their attention and make sure they get remembered. Plus, it offers State Street the opportunity to gather customer data when they give players the chance to enter a competition at the end of the game.'
State Street Masters' is a simple 3-hole golf game played on a PC in a prominent, high-traffic position on the edge of the State Street stand. Lasting no more than 2-3 minutes, the game ensures as many players as possible can play. It also gives State Street representatives a friendly and low-key way of entering into dialogue with conference attendees.
3RD sense have fully integrated State Street branding into the golf game and matched the look and feel of the rest of the stand.
'There's no point developing a game that doesn't match branding and promotional objectives,' said Colin. 'We chose golf because we knew a large proportion of the delegates at conferences attended by State Street would be interested in golf and we made sure it matched the State Street branding and creative guidelines.'
'State Street Masters' will be employed at State Streets exhibitions throughout the UK.
