Colin Cardwell
CEO

Colin has been at the forefront of the games and app development industry for more than a decade. Colin co-founded 3RD sense in 2001 and has grown the business into a leading Australian provider of games and apps. Colin combines his background in both technology development and sales and marketing to bring a deep understanding of how to develop games and apps that drive business objectives for brands. Most recently, Colin has been leading discussion on gamification in Australia, working with brands to integrate the motivators and mechanics used in game development to influence customers to action. Colin also is a frequent speaker on games and gamification at local and international conferences.

You'll recognise Colin by his constant companions - the smartphone glued to his left hand and the laptop hanging from his right shoulder. He's pitied for his blind devotion to the hapless Scottish rugby team and infamous for his shockingly bad jokes. If you hear Colin say, 'you'll like this one...', run.

Suzie Cardwell
Account Director

Suzie combines a background in marketing and advertising with experience in digital media to help our clients get the right apps and games for their brand. Suzie launched interactive TV advertising in Australia, twice - first for Austar and later for Foxtel. In between, she was marketing manager for an interactive TV games channel in the UK. In addition to working with our clients, Suzie also attempts to let the rest of the world know about 3RDSENSE's work through various marketing efforts.

Deeply interested in the world of books and publishing, Suzie is more often than not to be found curled up with her Kindle, pretending to be reading something worthy while actually reading 'Twilight'. You might also spot her on the treadmill at the gym where her face turns very red.

Steve Fellows
Project Manager

As Project Manager, Steve is the axle around which the 3RDSENSE wheel revolves. One of the longest-serving members of the team, Steve co-ordinates the production for all projects, working closely with clients to deliver what they ask for, when they ask for it. He combines his experience in project management with a background in web design, giving him an excellent perspective on development requirements.

If you visit the office, you're likely to trip over Steve's bike or bump into him as he sets off on a run. On the rare occasions he takes leave, the fish in a tank on his desk swims around glumly awaiting his return.

Chris likes to see a great concept brought to life, combining an understanding of the brand objectives with a creative idea.

Chris has a passion for social media and finds it impossible to visit a venue without checking in on Facebook, updating Linkedin and tweeting his location. Chris is also a massive fan of the X-Files and hopes to one day actually meet Mulder and Scully.

Tony Lowe
Lead Animator

As lead animator and illustrator, Tony is responsible for some of the great characters of the 3RDSENSE portfolio. With a strong understanding of games and apps, Tony leads a team of animators and illustrators who bring to life the diverse characters and scenes that inhabit our work. With a keen eye and a sense of humour that might best be characterised as 'dry', he is AKA 'Super-Tall Tony' who uses his height for good on the basketball court.

Recently, Tony has become an illustrator for children's books, working on the boss's first foray into children's literature, 'The Boy Who Ate Himself'. He is also a nurturer, tending the world's longest lasting tomato plant which he grows up the window beside his desk. .

Chris White
Chief Bean Counter

Chris brings long experience to the task of managing the money at 3RDSENSE. She has spent more than twenty-five years in senior finance roles in agencies and has brought that experience to refining our systems and processes. Ultimately, Chris' rather thankless task ensures that we can get on with the business of delivering creative digital services.

AKA 'Whitey', you'll recognise Chris by her thick, almost white hair. She's also rather fond of internet oddities and frequently sends all-company emails with subject lines like 'Chicken in a can!'. Think twice before opening.
